Borneo International School (Phase 2)

The building features open circulation spaces, shaded facades and vertical screens that provide solar protection while creating a distinctive architectural identity. At its centre, learning steps combine circulation with informal seating for discussions, study and student interaction. The arrangement of classrooms around shared spaces encourages visual connection and a stronger sense of community. Rooftop sports courts maximise the use of limited space and provide additional recreational facilities. Overall, the design creates a practical, climate-responsive and student-centred school for contemporary education.
