St Joseph’s Private Secondary School Kuching

This project proposes an extension to St. Joseph Private Secondary School, Kuching, designed to support contemporary learning while integrating with the existing school block. The design emphasizes visual transparency and strong ground-level connections, creating an open and engaging learning environment. Key features include learning steps that encourage informal teaching and collaborative learning, and an internal courtyard that enhances daylight, ventilation, and student wellbeing. An activity terrace, conceived as a learning commons, provides flexible space for group activities and interaction. Overall, the extension promotes connectivity, adaptability, and community, reflecting a forward-looking educational environment that supports holistic student development.
