This is a competition scheme we submitted in 2012 for Sarawak History Museum conservation & storage facility in Kuching, Sarawak.
The idea is to combined all the parks and open space to form a ‘continuity of green-scape’ to form a ‘green-lung’ within Kuching city centre. Connecting the surrounding historical landmarks to form a ‘heritage heart’ through different layers of routes and walkways in respect with the existing iconic heritage and historical axis points.
With that, we believe our proposed design should extend beyond the boundary to form complete museum campus for Sarawak Heritage Museum.
