As a weekend house caters for 3 sons and their families, the design has preserved the originality of the house which has been demolished, remaining the remembrance of the past to the families. The house reflects a contextual placement at the site surrounded by houses built in different era. By picking up some existing architecture elements of those houses such as roof profile, gutter, downpipes, texture and more, reinterpreting in a modern approach to create a sense of occasion and richness.
